The royal marriage between Prince William and Kate Middleton has been watched by more than two billion people! It's just awesome and crazy! Who has never dreamed of meeting her prince charming? I think all little girls dream about it! and this Friday, Prince William was the charming prince and Kate the lucky princess !
It's an interesting event for people like me who are not British, we don’t have this kind of event in France, it maybe that who impresses us! Do you imagine our president Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni in a coach? I don’t think so!
The long-awaited ceremony was actually a success, the bride was radiant in her beautiful dress, I'm sure most girls in the world had envied her this day! and the bridesmaid Pippa Middleton managed to get noticed by everyone in her beautiful white dress! Moreover, the Prince William, arrived smiling and relaxed, which was nice to see!(His mother, Diana, must be so proud of him!)
I didn’t watch all the ceremony (unfortunately I had to work that day! Ah life is hard my friends! ;p) but the little I saw, I loved it and I wanted to be in London to feel the atmosphere! British guys look pretty crazy sometimes! There is not so much event like this, events that gathers huge crowds, which are the pride of a country! Indeed, until last Friday I didn’t know that my neighbors were English, it was when as I got off to work I saw an British flag and pictures of the royal couple in my building !Moreover, when i saw all these English people and other person with flags gathered outside the church, it reminds me the videos that we watched in history class (I think we lived a unique moment with this wedding).
This ceremony was like a living museum! Indeed, the coach was there to take Kate and William to Buckingham Palace, the queen was present (she does not change at all, it's crazy!), a guard on horseback ...
Prince Harry, William’s brother, was his best man, and looked happy for this union, in fact he was often laughing, which give a dynamic side to the ceremony, which could some seem long. (Harry is not bad, by the way!;))
The royal kiss finally ended this spectacular event! a kiss that lasted a split second, but was part of the royal protocol! whole family was on the famous balcony of Buckingham, I went so many times there, it's like home for me!
